WE ARE OUT

 Inclusiveness and diversity are at the core of Auxiliary. The biggest lesson we have learned in our almost 10 years of existence is that fitness has the power to bring people together. We will forever remain committed to this cause. 

The owners of Auxiliary have decided to drop CrossFit from our name and publicly rebuke Greg Glassman for his highly divisive and inflammatory racist comment regarding the recent death of George Floyd. We also believe that Greg Glassman has demonstrated a lack of leadership during a time when strong leadership is paramount. In our opinion, he has irreparably damaged his affiliates who have dedicated their lives and livelihoods to support the CrossFit brand. 

Auxiliary Fitness will be donating its 2020 affiliate fee towards Black Legal Action Centre, a non-profit organization that provides free legal services for low or no-income Black Ontarians. Moreover, Auxiliary will increase our efforts towards the Auxiliary Scholarship Program, established in 2018, to promote fitness for those who are not able due to financial barriers. 

Auxiliary will continue to strive for excellence. We will continue to provide a fun, safe, and effective training program, including mix modal styled conditioning, weight lifting, and training protocols. We remain committed to ensuring our coaches are held to the highest standard in teaching, training, and learning. 

We will continue to listen. We will continue to learn. We will always support you.
