We will listen. We will learn. We will hear their stories.

On this Canada Day, the Auxiliary community stands with the Indigenous peoples. We mourn with them. The loss of thousands of innocent children is unspeakably difficult to comprehend.

We stand in solidarity with First Nations. We show this by listening and learning. To listen and to learn are values we uphold in our own community. They are skills that apply to everything in life that enable us to grow.
